Buracas do Casmilo

upon request | 10h

In the center of the country, not far from Coimbra, we find this wonder of nature! Located in the Serra de Sicó, the largest holes can be more than 10 meters in diameter and 5 to 7 meters deep! They have served as a shelter for humans and animals over the centuries, and today they are a delight for lovers of climbing and hiking!
We took the opportunity to get to know the famous Rabaçal cheeses, while enjoying the way of life of the rural people.
