Crowned with one of the oldest universities in Europe and bathed by the River Mondego, Coimbra was the kingdom's first capital in the 12th and 13th centuries. It was also here that the most beautiful and tragic love story of all time took place!
Not far away, Aveiro beckons us to take a Moliceiro ride along its canals and try the delicious Ovos Moles and Tripas!
Don't forget the Chanfana and the Leitão à Bairrada accompanied by local wines and the Pastel de Tentúgal for dessert!
