Course
SINTRA is a World Heritage Site and there is a lot to see, so it is important to plan your trip well! Amongst the things we can visit, we highlight:
- Queluz National Palace
- Pena Palace: Sintra's "jewel" that includes the park, the Chalet of the Countess D'Edla and the High Cross - the highest point of the Sintra mountain range
- Moorish Castle
- National Palace of Sintra
- Historical centre
- Quinta da Regaleira
- Monserrate Palace
- Convent of Capuchos
- Convent of Peninha
...without forgetting to taste the famous "queijadas" and "travesseiros", as well as enjoying the beauty of the mountain and surrounding landscape!
After lunch in a nearby restaurant, we continue to CASCAIS with a stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe.
Already in CASCAIS, we will have time to appreciate the charm of this town chosen by King D. Luis I in 1870 for his summer residence and which has become, along with ESTORIL, one of the most cosmopolitan and touristic places in Portugal!
